WEi reveal their ‘IDENTITY: First Sight’ trailer ahead of the boy group’s debut!

On September 12th, upcoming boy group WEi released a trailer ahead of the their debut. Check it out down below!

WEi ‘IDENTITY: FIRST SIGHT’ TRAILER:

Called ‘Identity: First Sight’, the trailer gives us a look to the group’s concept for debut. The clip starts with the six members divided into two sets of three. All the members are in the same location however, three are there during the day, whilst the latter at night. In the daytime, abandoned colourful neon trolleys are left out in front of the them. A mysterious shooting star from the sky comes towards and floats in their hands. In contrast during the night, a shimmering butterfly floats in their hands. All the members look curious towards their objects before both vanish from their existence. We finally then have all the members together in the evening. Wearing all white outfits, they stand together as they look over the gloomy clouds and ominous moon that take up the sky.

Throughout the whole trailer, an intense beat featuring piano plays the background. This transitions to a whistling melody till the end of trailer. Fans are therefore curious as to what that instrumental alludes to.

The upcoming 6-member group have been weekly uploading videos of their variety show ‘OUI GO UP’ on their official YouTube channel to allow fans to connect and get to know them better. Furthermore, member Kim Yohan also released a solo single earlier in August this year. The sextet consists of members who all have previous experience in project groups or idol survival shows, hence being revealed to the public prior to this debut. They include:
