South Korean singer WH3N released his music video for ‘Something That You Left’ on October 31, 2017. The music video was released in 1theK and Universal Music Korea’s official YouTube channel and it portrayed WH3N in a heartbroken state. In the music video, saturated in dark blue hues, WH3N roams around his small cramped apartment.
The song opens with his sweet vocals and the twinkles of a piano. After a brief pause a beat drops and the song continues with a hint of claps. The song continues its slow melody and WH3N sits on his bed with a drink in his hand. He is desperate, depressed, and broken as he remembers the one who left him with something. He becomes frustrated and takes his anger out on the camera, which was revealed to be a picture of his former lover.
WH3N’s slow R&B track is soulful and emotional. With just the sound of a piano, a few electronic elements, and his sweet voice WH3N was able to transition those feelings of devastation to the audience.
