WJSN have come back on September 19th with ‘Save Me, Save You‘, the title track for their new album ‘WJ Please?’. The song is catchy and haunting, with lots of hidden meanings, and a surprising twist! Check it out below!
WJSN ‘Save Me, Save You’ MV:
The members of WJSN have truly outdone themselves. The MV has a dream-like, fantasy vibe to it, with purples and pinks swirling in the background and the colours washed out to create a dreamscape effect.
*Warning: Spoilers Ahead!*
In the MV, it seems like the members all attend a school where they learn magic, but something dark is lurking within the school. It’s subtle, but it’s there, serious gazes and sly movements between the cheerful cuts of the girls studying and playing together.
Three of the members make a promise, and although we are left wondering what the promise is, it seems to have an effect on the school and the memories the group have there.
The MV is full of possible storylines, and fans have already begun trying to figure out what the true meaning of the somewhat cryptic MV is.
The track itself is a pop track with synth beats, and a catchy electric piano melody that resembles the kind played in olden, Victorian-style dramas for effect. Additionally, their vocals and rap also follow the fantasy, dream theme, with soft, haunting notes and breathy whispers lyrics.
