On June 9th, woo!ah! released the music video to their latest single, ‘Danger’. The title track comes off their simultaneously released 1st mini album, ‘Joy’. The single joins the small but growing list of bops ready for the summer.
With its cute and bright soundscape, raps drip through quickly. The sweet sounding pre-chorus meets with a minimal but light beat drop to let listeners know of the transition, without throwing you out the wheel. Predictably, the chorus is a two-parter where the instrumental fills in, bringing in the catchier hooks of the track. Its climax is unexpected as it ends in a dance break outro with an even fuller beat to propel to its finish.
Sugary sweet themes find their way throughout the music video. As the girls discuss the danger of love, candy filled landscapes contrast with darker chic closeups of the members. This difference shows the versatility of the group across concepts they could embark on in the future.
