WOODZ (a.k.a Cho Seungyoun from UNIQ and formerly X1) made his highly anticipated solo comeback on June 29th with his first mini album ‘Equal‘ and title track ‘Love Me Harder‘! This is his first solo activity since X1 disbanded in early January this year. Prior to participating on ‘Produce X 101‘, he had already released a few digital singles under the name of WOODZ. This is his first comeback since then!
Check out the MV teaser below!
WOODZ – ‘Love Me Harder’ MV:
The MV shows two versions of WOODZ as he literally confronts his alter ego. Innocent WOODZ finds himself at a crime scene and encounters serious trouble after a problematic breakup. Meanwhile, bad boy WOODZ just watches and ridicules him from the sidelines. Throughout the MV, this alter ego continues to tempt the innocent version.
The song has a catchy whistling backing tune and is chill. It’s a fun song and the choreography also has killing points. WOODZ is known to be an all-rounder and he definitely shows all his talent (including acting, but not so much rapping) in this long-awaited comeback.
