On October 29th, YG Entertainment‘s CEO Yang Hyun Suk released more details about his upcoming survival show. His new boy group survival show will be called ‘YG Jewelry Box‘.
About the show:
29 trainees from YG Entertainment will compete on this debut program. The CEO wants five of them to debut, but he will be flexible depending on how the show progresses. Most of the trainees are teenagers who are between 14 to 19 years old. Some of the likely trainees to appear on the show are the trainees that appeared on survival show ‘Stray Kids‘. In the episode in which JYP Entertainment and YG Entertainment battled it out, Bang Ye Dam and several other trainees impressed both Yang Hyun Suk and Park Jin Young. Fans have been waiting to see these trainees perform again.
The boy groups under YG Entertainment have been highly successful around the world. BIGBANG, WINNER and iKON have had massive hits and gained popularity globally.
The first broadcast of ‘YG Jewelry Box‘ will occur on November 16th. It will be available online on V-Live and Youtube.
