Music doesn’t have a vacation, and neither do YG artists.
There’s a high level of excitement on the incoming of high profile comebacks and debuts, as YG Entertainment takes on another yet successful year. It has been reported that YG’s veteran group BIGBANG, rookie group WINNER, and the highly anticipated debut of 2015, IKoN, have all canceled and plans for the Lunar New Year to focus on work. According to the agency, “They all turned in their holidays. They had planned to finally spend time with their families and even planned out trips. But because there are so much planned for the first half of the year we are running out of time. They all decided to cancel their plans and focus on working on their albums.”
Fans have been waiting three years for BIGBANG’s comeback, and IKoN’s debut long before “Mix and Match,” and WINNER will be making their first comeback since debuting in August of 2014. Fans are restless and continue to grow impatient every time a “Who’s Next” is posted or an idol posts a selca. YG continues,“There are a lot of people awaiting new albums from BIGBANG, WINNER, and iKON. There are a lot of people who are disappointed at the repeated delays [of the albums] release dates. So, we are working with utmost concentration to create a higher quality output.”
YG entertainment will be neck-deep in working on preparing for the three male groups comebacks and debut, and we can expect something from Papa YG (Yang Hyun Suk) himself.
The clock is officially ticking, are you prepared for YG’s 2015 takeover?
