YG Entertainment makes an announcement about the release date of 2NE1’s GLOBAL TOUR LIVE [NEW EVOLUTION IN SEOUL] DVD .
On January 4th, the label made an announcement through their Facebook page, they stated, “This announcement provides you information on 2NE1 NEW EVOLUTION CONCERT DVD, which will be released simultaneously throughout Asia on January 16, 2013” revealing the information about when they will release the DVD.
They continued, “As the first Korean girl group to be ranked #29 on the Billboard concert chart `Current Box Score`, 2NE1 have set a sold out record in their LA and NY concerts last August. As well, their tour has held the spotlight for various features of the concerts, such as stage production, sound, choreography, video, and costume, and more than anything, along with the internationally renowned producers, they have successfully presented the concerts of high quality. ”
It was also reported that the director of Michael Jackson’s world tour `THIS IS IT`, Travis Payne, directed and choreographed it along with other teams which previously worked with famous artists like Beyonce, Jay-Z & Eminem.
