YG Entertainment and ‘Produce 101’ producer planning new girl group show

YG Entertainment and ‘Produce 101’ producer Han Dong Chul are planning a new girl group comeback project.

According to reports YG Entertainment have stated, “PD Han Dong Chul will be unveiling a girl group project this fall.”

The continued, “It’s a project that is in co-operation with the other agencies.”

It was further explained that anyone can take part including those who are currently signed to agencies or have put out albums in the past.

Han Dong Chul is best known for being the producer of ‘Produce 101 Season 1’.  He recently moved to YG Entertainment from Mnet.

With this news it appears that YG is ambitiously taking on a number of reality shows, having previously announced three other shows.

There is no confirmed airing date for the new show as yet.
