YG Entertainment has revealed the team working on G-Dragon‘s first world tour, the list includes internationally known directors, choreographers and band members.
YG announced that Travis Payne, known for being the choreographer and director for Michael Jackson’s “This Is It,” will be the creative director of the tour, together with choreographer Stacey Walker. Michael Cotten, known for setting the stages of the Super Bowl, the Olympics and Michael Jackson’s tour, to be in charge of the world tour’s stage design. Visual contents producer Possible Productions will officially direct the footages for the concert. The “2012 Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour” band members will also make a comeback in G-Dragon’s concert and will be led by music director Gil Smith II.
A stop in Taiwan was also confirmed for G-Dragon’s tour, with a date and venue yet to be confirmed. The “GD 1st World Tour” will kick off in South Korea this March 30th and 31st, followed by a Dome tour in Japan rights after. YG Entertainment has also confirmed concert stops in Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore.
