YG Entertainment will not Edit Psy’s “Gentleman” MV for KBS Broadcast Ban

Although Psy’s MV for “Gentleman” has been very viewed on YouTube, KBS decided the video was unsuitable for broadcast.  YG Entertainment announced that it will not be appealing against its decision.

YG Entertainment stated, “We expected this kind of ruling so we don’t expect that a repeal will have any significance.” They added, “We accept their decision, and we are cool with it. There’s nothing else we can do at this point, and we will not file an appeal.”

Due to scenes that portray the damage to public property, Psy’s music video for “Gentleman” was deemed unsuitable for broadcast. (More specifically the scene where Psy is seen kicking a traffic cone.)
