iKON, YG Entertainment’s newest guy group, announced that they will be gifting their fans with the ultimate gift after a jam packed debut year; the gift of a full album on December 24th.
YG announced the newest release on December 12th with a teaser poster with the suave looks of B.I, Bobby, JinHwan, ChanWoo, JunHoe, Donghyuk, and YunHyeong. On the poster you can see the information of the date, along with iKONICs receiving two music videos, plus the online and offline availability of the album.
iKON has been sweeping the award shows, nabbing the Best New Artist award at the Melon Awards, and the Mnet Asian Music Awards. They are up for the same award for the Seoul Music Awards and the Golden Disk Awards as well. On top of the countless show awards they won for ‘My Type’, their debut song, ‘Apology’, and ‘Rhythm Ta’.
Following in the footsteps of their senior label mates, the seven newcomers of YG have found success each month since debut with each set of songs they dropped and with the new album, they will be releasing dual titles tracks once more.
I am actually looking forward to this album. I wasn’t a fan before, but after the MAMAs, I did grab their debut half album and enjoyed it. Are you looking forward to the new full album? Tell us about it!
