Which one do you want to hear first? YG Entertainment has announced that 2NE1‘s comeback with their 2nd album “CRUSH” will be delayed for a few days. In order to make Blackjacks feel a little bit better, the agency has just revealed more details about the group’s upcoming title songs!
YG’s website, YG-Life, is updated with the following notice: “We have urgently postponed 2NE1’s 2nd album release date from the original schedule of 12am on February 24th to 12am on February 26th <which is 0 hour of February 27th>.The offline album will be released on March 7th as planned.”
The agency also explained that the reason behind the sudden delay is because they decided to release the album on a more special day instead, CL‘s birthday, which falls on February 26th. As mentioned earlier, CL participated in the production of the album and wrote 3 of the 10 songs.
YG also shared that they decided on 2 tracks for title songs. The first one will be titled “Come Back Home,” which is said to be filled with melody and lyrics about yearning for a long-gone lover. Its produced by Teddy, who has worked with the girls before. The second one, titled “Gotta Be You,” is a joint work by Teddy and PK and is “a fast-paced song that leaves an impact through Bom’s powerful cry. “
Four music videos will be released for the upcoming album. There will be two versions of “Come Back Home” which will be released simultaneously on February 28th. The music video for “Gotta Be You” is next, followed by a clip for “Happy” which was filmed in the US.
The track list of 2NE1’s 2nd album will be released on February 18th, 10PM Korean time.
