After releasing the music video for “Paradise Lost“, Ga In released her second music video for “Apple” featuring Jay Park.
The video itself is only 2 minutes long and is pretty much a video of Ga In having a great time by herself.
You’d think it would be be a seemingly harmless video, right? You know that little rating sign at the beginning of every K-Pop music video that tells us if we’re old enough to watch it or not? Well the sign on this one says that if you’re not 19 or older, you shouldn’t be watching it.
Now it does seem like an innocent video, which it is, until you read the lyrics and even then it doesn’t seem so bad, but “Apple” was bad enough that it has already been deemed unfit for broadcast by KBS due to the nature of the lyrics expressing a sexual relationship.
Personally, I would have thought “Paradise Lost” was more sexual in terms of the choreography and thought she wouldn’t be promoting it due to that and I would have expected “Apple” to be a bit more innocent, but it seems to be the other way around.
I guess this time words are what speaks louder than actions, or in this case, the dance routine.
If you haven’t watched the music video yet for “Apple”, and if you’re “legally” allowed to watch it, then you can do so by clicking on the video below!
