As Wanna One wrap up their debut promotions, the group has given fans another gift!
‘Wanna Be (My Baby)‘ is a song from Wanna One to Wannables, expressing the members’ excitement at seeing the fans as they take their first steps together as a group. Check out the live version of the MV below!
‘Wanna Be (My Baby)‘ is a fun, upbeat song that will make you want to dance! The lyrics show the members’ thanks towards their fans, saying that Wannables are always in their minds. The choreography is energetic, and loaded with aegyo and fun! From Jihoon‘s signature “nae maeum soge jeojang” to Jisung‘s famous circle clapping, and even squeezing in Seongwu‘s slate clap, fans of Produce 101 and of Wanna One will find many nods to the group’s time on the program.
The music video itself contains footage from Wanna One‘s August 7 Premier Show Con. Shots of masses of screaming fans, the outside of the Gocheok Sky Dome, Wanna One preparing backstage, and of course footage of the live performance itself create an immersive experience, allowing fans who couldn’t make it to the group’s debut feel as if they had front row seats!
Wanna One also performed a special stage of ‘Wanna Be (My Baby)‘ on the August 30 episode of Show Champion. The fanchants complement the track and add to the already high intensity energy of the song. Check out the special performance below!
