Block B’s Zico and Girl’s Day Sojin recently lent their voices to the OST of the new SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama ”Mask”, to create a powerful ballad type track.
The drama which had already garnered an outstanding amount of ratings (ranking first in viewer ratings for its time slot) as well as fans, recently received even more attention from this OST. The song ‘아프다’ , ‘”Sick” or “It hurts” which was cowritten by Zico and Sojin begins with a soft piano and guitar instrumental which is then accompanied by a very soft and smooth style of rapping from Zico (who seems to no longer be a ‘tough cookie’) and Sojin’s captivating and emotional vocals -which beautifully compliment each other.
The song captures the story of scorned lovers who now hate the one they loved. The music video features leading actress and actor Su Ae and Ju Ji Hoon and tells the story of their star-crossed destiny as the two search to find love in a twisted Prince and the Pauper tale.
