
Highlight‘s Yoseob will be releasing a new solo album, six years after his last solo release.
It has been confirmed by Highlight‘s agency, Around US Entertainment, that Yoseob will be returning as a solo artist. In a statement they said, “Highlight member Yoseob is expected to release a solo album in mid-February. As of right now, no specific date has been determined. He has currently finished his album jacket photoshoot in Sapporo, Japan, and will be filming his MV shortly. We ask for your support.”
A visually stunning video entitled ‘His Log: The Beginning’ has been released as well.

A comeback schedule has also been released detailing the activities in the lead-up to the release of the album. Prominently on the schedule is the character ‘白’, which often means ‘White‘.
Looks like we’ll be seeing an album preview tomorrow, February 5.

This will be Yoseob‘s first solo album in 6 years. His last solo activity was back in 2012 with ‘Caffeine’, the title track from ‘The First Collage‘. According to reports, the new album will feature tracks which were written and composed by Yoseob himself.
Yoseob‘s second mini-album is scheduled for release on 19 February at 6pm KST.
