Hyukoh’s Indie Stylings are Coming to Europe

MyMusicTaste and Brightside Concerts have announced they are bringing Hyukoh to Europe in 2019, showing that it’s not just k-pop and boy bands that are gaining popularity in Europe.

Hyukoh are a Korean indie band signed to DRDRamc.  The band is comprised of four individuals: leader, singer, and guitarist Oh Hyuk, bassist Im Dong-geon, guitarist Lim Hyun-jae, and drummer Lee In-woo.  Their sound is unlike the mass produced k-pop music and Oh Hyuk’s voice is both melodic and high pitched, yet raspy creating a highly unique listening experience.  Songs like ‘Comes and Goes’ and ‘Tomboy’ provide a stirring and emotional listening experience that is soothing and easy to listen to.

The tour is sure to encourage more fans to start riding the Hallyu wave as it showcases that there are many faces to the Korean music scene.
