Dreamcatcher made insomniacs out of many on their third world tour, “REASON : MAKES,” especially on their fifth stop in the windy city, Chicago.
The night started off with “Chase Me” and “You and I,” and the members entranced the crowd with their cool vibes and complex choreography. Not sticking to one genre, ballads such as “A Heart of Sunflower” and “Emotion” served to showcase their vocal versatility and prowess. Also performing some popular releases, fans, known as InSomnia, joined in in unison to sing “Spider” and “Scream.” The girl group also performed choreography-heavy songs such as “Boca” and “Vision,” and fans surprised everyone by singing along even to rapper Dami’s parts. The group also performed more recent releases from their 2022 EP, including “Some Love” and “Fairytale,” marking the first time these songs have been performed in Chicago. With their rock-inspired discography, performances bounced between darker aesthetics and powerful storylines, calling back to each era of Dreamcatcher.
Keeping up the energy until the very end, the group finished the show off with songs “Sahara,” “Wind Blows,” and an encore performance of their latest single, “Reason.” Known for their edgy concept, Dreamcatcher’s show was certainly one to remember.
