NU’EST W will be back on the airwaves very soon!
In an official statement on August 25th, a representative from Pledis Entertainment announced that NU’EST W is currently working on new music and are aiming to make their comeback in October!
This news follows the success of the NU’EST subunit’s digital single ‘If You‘, and the unprecedented rise of the group’s 2013 hit ‘Hello‘ back up the music charts. ‘If You‘ was a pre-release track to thank fans for their support of the four NU’EST members who participated in the second season of Produce 101.
At the time of the track’s release, Pledis made it clear that ‘If You‘ would not be promoted in the same way as a regular comeback as NU’EST W were working on new music for an official album. It appears that that album will be released upon the subunit’s comeback in October, meaning that the four members of NU’EST W will once again be participating in live music show broadcasts!

The NU’EST W subunit was formed after NU’EST member Minhyun was selected to debut as part of Wanna One. The remaining four members of the original NU’EST lineup have been keeping busy in the meantime, juggling preparations for their comeback as a subunit with other promotional activities. Leader JR has been cast as a permanent member of JTBC‘s variety show ‘Night Goblin‘, whilst the entire group will be appearing on Weekly Idol‘s Pledis special alongside sister group PRISTIN, After School‘s Raina and soloist Han Dong Geun! The group have also sold out tickets for their August 26th and 27th fan meets in less than three minutes!
