On the 27th, Sunmi dropped the music video for ‘LALALAY‘!

Sunmi ‘LALALAY’ Music Video

The first scene shows Sunmi breaking out of what looks like a suitcase signifying the butterfly breaking out of its cocoon. She then puts on a wig before taking it off later. Sunmi shows off her confidence as she sings and dances in colourful outfits. The symbol of the butterfly can be seen throughout the video. Her outfits are also a mixture of bright and fancy dresses mimicking the beauty of the butterfly wings as well as more plain outfits.

The music video is very meaningful as Sunmi tries to get her message across. Although the song and music video is very upbeat and bright, there is a deeper message underneath. This is even more special as Sunmi was heavily involved in it.
