On September 28th, female soloist AILEE announced her comeback with the 5th mini album, ‘I’m‘ featuring the title track, ‘When We Were In Love’. AILEE ‘I’M’ ALBUM TRACK LIST + FIRST CONCEPT PHOTO:
Examining the video, it has a techno theme with the sliding blue text and electronic sounds that back the 30 second clip. Looking closely at the text, we also see numbers fly by which indicates the naming and track list numbering for the album. At the end of the teaser, we hear the singer’s delicate emotional vocals, giving fans a further tease. The track list contains four songs and are as follows:
- ‘One Day By Chance’
- ‘When We Were In Love’ (title track)
- ‘Beautiful Disaster’
- ‘What If I’
The concept photo above is simple, having the singer sit next to a white table in neutral tones. Her natural beauty stand out as the hair is styled loosely around her face, expressing a sense of longing and reflection.
This mini album will mark her solo comeback in 1 year and 3 months as her last comeback was in July 2019 with her 2nd full album, ‘Butterfly’. This will also be her first official return since parting ways with her now former label YMC Entertainment, in pursuit to create her own label, Rocket3 Entertainment. Within 2020 she has pursued collaborations with singer Jung Seunghwan; and VIXX member Ravi with the single ‘What About You’. Fans are ecstatic for her solo return and are waiting in anticipation to hear what music she will put out under her own company.
AILEE‘s 5th mini album, ‘I’m’ featuring the title track, ‘When We Were In Love’ will be released on October 6th, 6PM KST!
