If you’re a long-time “Weekly Idol” viewer, the one thing you’re certain to know about is the ‘bromance’ between G-Dragon and MC Jung Hyungdon. The latter is forever asking after the leader of BIGBANG and after 3 years G-Dragon will return to Basement Level 3. This time, he’s bringing the rest of BIGBANG with him too!
After their highly anticipated comeback with the full version of the ‘MADE‘ album, Yang Hyun Suk seems to have agreed to let BIGBANG appear on a few variety shows before T.O.P enlists. The thoughts of the CEO were revealed as follows:
“He thought of fans who will not be able to see BIGBANG as a whole group for a while. He viewed variety show appearances as the answer to soothing sad fans and suggested it to the members.”
The source confirmed the group’s appearance on three variety shows. While the filming for “Infinite Challenge” and “Radio Star” have been wrapped up, the “Weekly Idol” episode will be filmed in the coming weeks. MBC Every1 also confirmed that the episode would only air in January.
It’s a little bit of a wait for VIP’s but it will be well worth it! Out of the show’s many segments, the “Rewritten Profile” (for the other four members at least) is the one I am most anticipating! G-Dragon previously appeared on “Weekly Idol” in 2013, and we got to see him do some entertaining things in his double episode feature.
In the meantime, BIGBANG has been making waves with their three new songs; ‘Fxxk It‘, ‘Last Dance‘ and ‘Girlfriend‘. They’ve already achieved “all-kills” on various music charts with ‘Fxxk It’, while the other two songs stand at second and third place respectively.
What are your expectations now that BIGBANG will be appearing all together?
