Attention Cross Gene fans; the guys are back with dance version of ‘Play With Me‘ music video!
I am happy that they have released a full dance version of the song. In the original music video only got to see pieces of the choreography, and from those small glances it looked good . So this was a welcomed gift from the group.
While the music video is not a one shot wonder like many dance versions, the edits are good and help tell the story of the song as well as the original. There is still the use of color, light and shadow in this version. Only this time is it more extreme but that works in this case as we don’t have any story scenes to distract us and move us along the time lime.
My one issue with this music video is the same as with original and that is the costuming. In some cases whoever dressed the guys did an excellent job and they were totally on point. While in other cases they missed the mark completely. But that does not distract for how good of a song ‘Play With Me’ is .
