DBSK’s Concert DVD in Japan earned 1 Billion Won this year

DBSK garners a staggering 1 billion won ($900,000) from their concert DVD in Japan this year.

Oricon Biz Online, a music business analysis company in Japan, reported that DBSK earned a total of 1 billion won from their TOHOSHINKI Live Tour 2012-TONE concert DVD. They said that the only artists who had this kind of achievement were DBSK and AKB48. TOHOSHINKI Live Tour 2012-TONE concert DVD was released last June 2012, it includes the footages of their performances Tokyo Dome Concert and the DVD had also topped the daily DVD compilation and weekly chart.

They also reported that there is an increase on their of video media (such as DVDs and Blu-Ray discs) sales from 2011.
