The first original sound track for SBS‘s “Scarlet Heart: Goryeo” was released on August 21st!
EXO‘s Baekhyun, Chen, and Xiumin have formed a unit to sing the song titled “For You” was shortly featured in the teaser video.
The producer behind “Scarlet Heart: Goryeo” is also notably famous for working on soundtracks for other K-Dramas such as “Descendants of the Sun,” “It’s Okay, That’s Love,” and “Who Are You: School 2015.”
This marks the first time that the three EXO members have teamed up together to form a unit to sing the original sound track. Additionally, Baekhyun also stars in the drama as one of the princes.
On August 25th at 12 a.m. KST, the ending theme for the soundtrack of “Scarlet Heart: Goryeo” was released; which was followed up with a music video.
“For You” presents lyrics that describe the love and devoting that not only Lee Joon Gi, but almost all the princes have for IU‘s character, Hae Soo. The powerful vocals of Baekhyun, Chen, and Xiumin are emphasized with the song’s sweet melody.
“Scarlet Heart: Goryeo” is an adaptation from a Chinese drama and the story is set up in the early times of the Goryeo regime. The story is about a woman from the 21st century named Hae Soo(played by IU) whose soul gets transported back to the Goryeo dynasty and finds herself trapped in the conflicts and struggles between the princes of the Wang House.
“Scarlet Heart: Goryeo” airs on Mondays and Tuesdays at 22:00 KST on SBS starting from August 29th, 2016.
