Yoo Hee Yeol might not have grabbed the winner of “K-POP STAR 4” Katie Kim, but he managed to sign the two amazing runner-ups of the season.
For the first time in the history of the show, it was allowed that the second and third places chose one of the three companies (YG, JYP and Antenna Music) to sign with, and to everyone’s surprise, both Jung Seung Hwan and Lee Jin Ah chose to sign with the smallest one.
Although Park Jin Young might have got really hurt with her decision, Antenna Music was by far the best option for Lee Jin Ah, who’s known for her unique and ámazing composing abilities. It may, though, seem weird for Seung Hwan to choose this company since during the whole show it was given a lot of hints that he preferred JYP or YG. However, as an emotional ballad singer, he will fit right in Antenna Music.
During the two seasons that Yoo Hee Yeol has participated as a judge, he managed to get many new faces to Antenna Music. Apart from Seung Hwan and Jin Ah, he also signed with “K-POP STAR 3” Kwon Jin Ah and Sam Kim who have been giving a lot to talk about since the third season ended.
We also can’t leave the other participants aside, since many contestants of the previous seasons have signed (and some of them event debuted) under amazing companies, such as WINNER‘s Seunghoon, Baek Ah Yeon, Lee Michelle, Almeng, Jang Hanna, Nam Youngju and Han Heejun. This season had a lot of outstanding candidates such as Lily M., Park Yoon Ha and Esther Kim, as well as many promising ones such as Seo Ye Ahn, Sparkling Girls, Ji John and Grace Shin, so they will surely sign with great companies and debut even before we notice it.
