Hundreds of K-Pop fans from around the UK flocked to Old Billingsgate, for the Korean Brand and Entertainment Expo 2013!
The Korean Brand and Entertainment Expo, or KBEE, finished its 3 day event in London last week, with 2NE1’s performance on the Tuesday and surprise fan-signing on Wednesday.
2NE1’s performance had a great turnout of fans; audience members surrounded the perimeter of the seating area, both upstairs and downstairs.
Some were disappointed at the short length of 2NE1’s three song performance which included ‘Do You Love Me’, ‘Lonely’ and ‘I am the Best’, but overall most were happy to simply see 2NE1. Petitions have also been made for 2NE1 to have a solo concert in London as a result of their appearance at KBEE.
The fan sign event was split into two sections with CL and Minzy on one end of the building, and Dara and Bom on the other. Tickets were also extremely limited to the first 100 fans or so that got to the venue.
Many who didn’t see 2NE1 in person still had the chance to see them up close and personal at the Hologram concert. Also featuring PSY, it showcased hologram performances that are both realistic and entertaining -with unique effects and animations added in to create more of a surreal concert experience! There were also photo booths at the side of the venue, so that audience members could take a picture of their face and see it up on the screen alongside 2NE1 as they performed.
So What would you prefer, seeing 2NE1 live in concert for the duration of three songs, or at a hologram concert with unique effects and your face taking part in the action?
