If you didn’t catch Dok2’s profile article you can head on over here to catch up on what you missed.
Dok2 is very well-known for his collaborations with various Korean artists, so of course, we need to take some time to talk about some of the most significant ones.
If we think of Dok2, Jay Park’s name usually pops up as well. The two work together, from time to time, releasing songs that always seem to do very well on the various music charts. “Know Your Name,” “Abandoned,” “Level 1000,” “Enjoy the Show,” and “Up and Down,” were featured on Jay Park’s album “New Breed” released in 2012 and are all songs created by a collaboration by the two. And those are only a few of the songs they have created together.
Not many fans know that 4minute Hyuna’s song “Just Follow,” which she performed together with Block B’s Zico, was actually a result of her collaboration with Dok2 who originally sang the song.
Dok2 and Zion.T have also released a few songs together, including “Secret Part 2” that was featured on Dok2’s album “Love & Life,” as well as “Click Me,” that was released as Zion.T’s single in April 2011, and later re-released as “Click Me 2013” on the soloist’s album “Red Light.”
Last year, Dok2 collaborated with the rookie group, GI (who we spoke about during our last KMusic Special), for their song “Booshit (Don’t Lie).”
Most of his collaborations have been very successful, so we hope to hear more of them in the near future.
