As it was previously announced earlier this month KyuHyun of Super Junior has decided to step down from his role on the KBS2 TV show “Mamma Mia”.
Well the sad day has arrived, KyuHyun has already filmed his last episode and it will be aired on October 27. His departure from the show was caused by a scheduling conflict. “Mamma Mia” had previously aired on Sunday’s but is moving to Wednesdays’ which conflicts with another hosting gig that KyuHyun has on MBC’s “Radio Star.”
KyuHyun was quoted as saying “I am sorry for already hosting a program on Wednesdays. Reflect on your decision, PD. But it’s not the PD’s fault because it’s the director who made the decision.”
One of the other MC’s from the show “Mamma Mia” asked KyuHyun to leave “Radio Star” instead, KyuHyun replied that he had been on that show for two years and he had to choose it out of loyalty.
His loyalty is admirable but it is shame to see him leave “Mamma Mia”. He will be replaced by Gag man, Heo KyungHwan.
