K-EXCLUSIVE: Lee Jongsuk first fanmeet in Singapore

On 12th November 2016, Saturday, the famous model/actor Lee Jongsuk came to Singapore for the first time to spend some time with his beloved fans. His fanmeet was held at Megabox Convention Centre at Big Box on the same day. Before his fanmeet, he sat down with the media at W Hotel in Sentosa Cove to share a few things.

He shared that he loved Singapore’s weather and would love to stay a little longer but due to his tight schedule, it was not possible for him to do so. He is currently busy filming a movie and for the first time, he is going to play the “bad guy” role.

Despite being busy, he mentioned that he would be meeting Kim Woo Bin to have a meal together after his trip to Singapore. He also said that there are no future plans so far to open his own label even though he has a hand in fashion designing. He just wants to focus on his career as an actor for now.

He also shared his experiences filming W – Two Worlds, especially during the summer. “I am a guy who sweats a lot, and when we were filming W, it was during very hot weather. So I don’t remember much of the filming experience except for the fact that I was sweating a lot,” said the Korean heartthrob.

When asked about how he takes care of his amazing skin, Lee Jongsuk said that he did not practise any special skincare regime. Instead, he tries to avoid the sun as much as possible and it is not hard for him to do so since he does not like to exercise outdoors.

During the fanmeet, fans who came down definitely got to know more about the actor.  He shared that he would grow out his beard when he has no schedules.

He also talked about his pet poodle which he named “Lion” so that it will grow strong and healthy. As he is taking care of his figure for his new movie, his current go-to menu consists of chicken breast and sweet potatoes.

While playing a game on choosing his ideal type, it turned out that his ideal girl has an oval face, long hair with a sharp nose as well as someone who likes to smile. Fans were lucky that night as he serenaded them with four songs, Pinocchio, Present, Eat and lastly, Kiss Me.

Before ending the night, he told his fans that he would love to come back to meet them again and he wished he had come sooner.

The following two tabs change content below.

I started out watching K-dramas like "My lovely Samsoon", "Princess Hours" and "I'm sorry, I love you". My love for the language and culture grew and I met more people who had the same interests. That was how I was introduced to K-POP. After that was history. My favourite groups include Big Bang, 2NE1 and SISTAR. Ever since I joined KMUSIC, I got the opportunity to meet and interview many K-POP groups such as BAP, TOPPDOGG and AOA. I am based in Singapore and I am grateful for the opportunities given to me as part of the KMUSIC media team.
