The final character trailers are here, and right on time too! Hyuk and N’s trailers were released on October 26th and presented a completely different atmosphere from the other 4 Vixx counterparts. Instead of a darker and ominous atmosphere, we are taken to what could only be described as a peaceful haven.
Hyuk’s trailer carried a lighter feeling than the previous trailers. He seemed to be in a garden with what was clearly a Greek temple in the background. Seen with various writing equipment and a Greek kerykeion (two snakes wrapped around a staff), it’s more than likely that Hyuk is Hermes– the messenger of the Greek Gods.

N’s trailer didn’t show much of the surroundings, but it was clear from the start that he was quite high up. We also catch an overview of tarot cards and 3 in particular that he removes: The wheel of fortune, The chariot and The ace of swords. Now I’m no fortune teller, so I decided to dig a little deeper and figure out what they mean.
The Wheel of fortune: This indicated change is coming, usually positive and much needed change.
The Chariot: Here, determination is a vital point. This card indicates someone is steadfast in what they’re pursuing and will take whatever measures to get what they’re looking for.
The Ace of Swords: This card is all about new beginnings in life that may seem negative at first, but turns into something good and beneficial.
If the theories are right, N is supposed to be Zelos. I’m going to leave it to you Starlights to figure out how the cards support that.

Putting all the pieces together, I think there’s a clear picture of who is who. At first I was unsure about Leo or Hongbin. However, the possibility of them being Achilles and Prometheus respectively, makes sense considering each of their trailers. Ken seems to be the mastermind behind this as Kratos, while we have Ravi as Hades. With the character trailers all wrapped up, it’s safe to assume the next video dropped will be the official teaser for ‘The Closer.’ Unless Vixx surprises us with more unexpected teasers…
They will make their official comeback at midnight on October 31st with “The Closer” and their 3rd mini album, ‘Kratos.’ This effectively concludes the ‘Conception’ trilogy.
