In 2022, eleven-member group OMEGA X set out on their first world tour, [Connect: Don’t Give Up]. Unexpectedly, just seven months after the completion of their tour, the eleven members filed to terminate their contracts with their former company due to harsh treatment that came to light during their tour. Their contracts were terminated soon afterwards, and the group re-signed with their current company, IPQ. Symbolizing this new start, OMEGA X will be embarking on their second world tour, KEEP GOIN‘, to close out 2023. Starting in Japan, the tour will conclude with their North American leg, which will take place throughout November and December.
Debuting with eleven members, the group consists of Jaehan, Hwichan, Sebin, Hangyeom, Taedong, Xen, Jehyun, Kevin, Junghoon, Hyuk, and Yechan. The members originated from a combination of survival programs or previously debuted groups that went on indefinite hiatuses or disbanded. Brought together as eleven unique individuals with various attributes, they came together under the name OMEGA X with their official debut in 2021 with “Vamos” off their EP of the same title. Since then, they’ve kept busy with the consecutive releases of their second EP, Love me Like, debut Japanese EP, Stand Up, and first studio album, Story Written in Music.
Since signing with their new company this year, it is unknown whether new music will be released prior to the start of their tour, but it is clear that this tour marks a new beginning for OMEGA X and their fandom, FOR X.
Tickets are still available, with benefit tiers quickly selling out. Check out the official link here for tickets and exclusive info related to OMEGA X’s upcoming tour.
