‘Spotlight‘ is the second track of PRISTIN V‘s single album ‘Like a V‘. It is a catchy EDM track with a sexy beat that gets heavier as the song progresses. This compels you to listen on by signalling that the best part is on its way. The best part–the refrain– is when the momentum of the song reaches its peak first. By this time, we bet you have already been hooked into this elegant piece of music and can’t stop listening!
Apparently, PRISTIN V has put a lot of efforts into making sure fans will love this special video. The members have beautifully dressed up in chic black suits. These outfits not only match the mature sound of ‘Spotlight’, they go with the sub-unit’s concept as ‘dark yet charismatic villains you cannot hate‘. The music video director also took the title of the song quite literally. The set is lit solely by spotlights and each member gets illuminated individually when her part comes on.
