Heechul of Super Junior shared his ideas and thoughts around the ongoing controversy regarding the girl groups revealing performances during February 27’s broadcast of JTBC’s “Ssulzun”.
MC Choi Hee brought up the topic by saying, “The major channels have banned girl group′s choreography, but I heard they have been performing two different versions for cable and non-cable channels.”
Heechul expressed, “Sometimes the choreography creates an issue, so they change it, but it just creates another issue.” MC Heo Ji Woong added, “I don’t think it should be tightly regulated. If the singers go for just body-marketing, the public will be the first to ignore. There’s no need to block it ahead.”
Then Heechul shared his thought by saying, “If broadcasting stations are too tightly controlling, there will be no advancement in music or performance. I think it should be left up to the public to decide, and not the broadcasting stations to decide.”
