On October 18th and 20th, boy group TXT dropped two MV teasers respectively for their new title track, ‘Blue Hour’. The song comes off their upcoming 3rd mini album, ‘minisode1: Blue Hour’. Check out the teasers down below!
TXT ‘BLUE HOUR’ MV TEASERS:
The first teaser shows the members sitting in a tree overlooking a pink sky as a giant Ferris wheel takes up the landscape. A blue bird flies out of the tree going towards it. The members relax by laying on an expansive grassy field as a flock of birds one again swoop overhead. Running towards the wheel, it ends with member Beomgyu during a misty night, standing alone longingly looking at the amusement attraction.
Moving on to the second clip, it again starts with the members chilling at the tree however upon running, they arrive at the park. Behind them they explore a merry-go-round as they perform a slick snippet of choreography for the track. But, the members soon turn around to realise the lights of the carousel suddenly turn off as the park descends into darkness.
Throughout both videos, we also hear pieces of the track. Whilst teaser one featured slower moody synth beats that show the group’s vocal tones, listeners hear a more upbeat high synth most likely linked to the chorus.
As per usual with the group, there are many references to keep in mind with the music video. These all hint at the ongoing story-line and universe the group tells us. The group recently finished their ‘The Dream Chapter’ debut album trilogy with this comeback being the first under the ‘minisode1’ name. Hence it will be interesting to see what new developments narratively and socially the quintet will follow.
TXT‘s 3rd mini album, ‘minisode1: Blue Hour’ featuring the title track ‘Blue Hour’, will be released on October 26th, 6PM KST!
