Between October 17th and 20th, girl group TWICE completed their individual member teasers ahead of their 2nd full album, ‘Eyes Wide Open’ with members Dahyun, Mina, Momo and Jeongyeon. Check out the clips out down below!
TWICE ‘EYES WIDE OPEN’ CONCEPT FILMS (DAHYUN, MINA, MOMO, JEONGYEON):
Similar to the previous members teasers already released, the girls dress in two contrasting looks. With a flower packed wall, soft red lighting shows the members in beautiful black dresses and light makeup to showcase their pretty visuals. The clips are occasionally slowed down or played in reverse for fans to admire their beauty, shot like a high fashion shoot.
Black and white filter set, the members’ second look displays them in retro suits and dresses. With large earrings and accessories, and a bare background, they stand proudly giving us their charismatic expressions. The music that plays throughout the teasers, like in previous ones, begins with a dreamy instrumental before shifting to a stronger sounding 80s pop synth, teasing what possibly could be the title track, ‘I Can’t Stop Me’.
The nonet recently celebrated their 5th debut anniversary on October 20th and dropped contents in relation to that including holding a live event.
Unfortunately, member Jeongyeon will not be participating in promotions for this comeback. JYP Entertainment released a statement stating she has been diagnosed with having anxiety and will seek appropriate medical help. We hope she will be able to pull through and recover to return whenever she decides to. Hence, this comeback is going to be promoted with eight members.
TWICE‘s 2nd full album, ‘Eyes Wide Open’ featuring the title track, ‘I Can’t Stop Me’ is scheduled for release on October 26th, 6PM KST!
