On October 18th, Woolim Entertainment‘s new boy group DRIPPIN, released the second batch of concept photos ahead of their debut mini album, ‘Boyager’. The next day on the 19th, the group followed with dropping the concept trailer to the EP. Check the photos and trailer out down below!
DRIPPIN ‘BOYAGER’ CONCEPT PHOTOS + CONCEPT TRAILER:
Compared to the rookie group’s previous concept photos, the boys take on cooler more fitted looks this time. The combination of white, blue and black allow the them to express their boyish charm. Together, they stand as models behind a pitch black window.
The concept trailer opens with the members all in separate areas inside a warm house. Connected by a thread on their finger, they see it is attached to a bird cage. However, although each member is connected to their own, there is a central cage that is in the middle of an empty room with a ripped wall. Appearing one by one at at that location, we see a close-up of a shimmering glass rose. Like in their debut trailer, the members jump into the sky ready for their adventure as the teaser concludes. Behind all this, we hear a throbbing beat before it opens up to a happier guitar melody, familiar to other teasers.
The group’s lineup consists of seven members: Hyeop, Yunseong, Changuk, Dongyun, Minseo, Alex and former X1‘s Junho. All members except Alex have participated in Mnet‘s idol survival show ‘Produce X 101′ last year. Alex however will be the first foreign idol to debut under the company, having a Korean mother and German father. They will be the first boy group to debut under Woolim Entertainment since GOLDEN CHILD in 2017.
