VAV ‘MADE FOR TWO’ MV:
The track’s lyrics tell the story of recalling memories of past relationships, saying farewell and the hope of reuniting and creating more memorable moments in the future. Inspired by a mix of Scandinavian and North European styles, the song is driven by a drum and bass with a nice drop within the chorus. This brighter concept is a shift when compared to the group’s typical darker past releases, and showcases the group’s higher delicate vocal registers.
Moving on to the MV, this whole video takes place in Jeju Island, South Korea. Hence, breathtaking views of the ocean and greenery that surround the paradise are heavily shown. The members are have fun together doing various activities around the island, and at their accommodation lodge. A lady occasionally also follows them around however we find that she represents a past lover who is no longer there with them. A touching moment of the video is when all seven members take a photo together on a grassy field. Throughout the video, although short, the sneak peeks of the choreography we see show a slower controlled routine to match the heavier beat of the track.
Member Baron who appears in the MV and the album recently enlisted for military service, making the aforementioned photo the took all the more precious for fans. This long-awaited album will hence be promoted with the six remaining members. ‘Made For Two’ contains five tracks with a mixture of pop, EDM and ballads.
