Wheesung and Moon Myung Jin were supposed to perform in the USA on July 12th to 19th, but just before their departure on July 10th, they both have found out that their visas have not been issued and that they will not be able to perform before their American fans.
YMC Entertainment stated, “The staff and singers planned to leave for New Jersey today, but couldn′t due to problems with their visas,” and continued, “We emphasized ever since we signed the contract that we need a specific performer′s visa. We waited until today, but we never got it. We launched a strong complaint against the production company. Singers cannot perform without a performer′s visa in other countries, and it is illegal to hold a concert without one. We are very sad to make this announcement, but we have no other choice.”
They concluded, “We′re sorry to the many fans who′ve waited for the concert. We hope you understand, however, that we made this decision because we can′t hold illegal concerts. We′re looking at different options but we don′t think we′ll be able to follow the original schedule due to time and place constraints.”
YMC has also asked fans to cancel any airline tickets they have purchased and ensured them that they will continue talks with the production company about compensation.
