On March 31st, girl group WJSN revealed the MV to their newest comeback, ‘Unnatural’. The track comes off their identically named 9th mini album released on the same day. Check the music video out down below!
The girls vocalise about the dissatisfied feeling of being unnatural when confronted with the person they have a crush on. With the intricate synthesizers kicking it off, the club track descends into its own with soaring sharp vocals, second verse rap breakdown, the short paired down pre-chorus and the still slight dreamy atmosphere that characterises the group’s identifiable sound.
Watching the MV, we first see the members dressed fittingly in red and black in a military like line performing sharp arm choreography. Each member exudes a different charm within the stylishly chic concept. From sparkly white and gold dresses, elegant peach toned lacey ensembles and the fatal black suit and dress combos, the whole music video is a feast for exquisite eyes. Giving further eye candy, the group make use of their ten members with complicated and great variation within the formations in the song’s razor sharp dance routine.
Their 9th mini album this time comes with five new tracks with member rapper Exy participating in writing lyrics for every one of them. Member Seola also co-wrote the B-Side, ‘New Me’. Selling over 34,000 copies on their opening day of sales, it is set to continue the wondrous success of the Starship Entertainment group.
WJSN’s EP, ‘Unnatural’ featuring the same named title track is available now. How do you feel about the girl group’s recent comeback track and album? Let us know in the comments below!
