Ailee Gives Us A Look At Her MelOn Playlist

Ailee sits down with 1theK once again, after her #Hashtag interview, and this time the singer talks about her favorite songs and artists on her MelOn playlist.

Known as the Korean Beyonce, it’s not surprising that Ailee has her role model Beyonce included on this list. She picked the song “Drunk In Love” featuring Jay-Z. She talks about how much she loves the song, even though she didn’t really get it at first. I think we can relate to that a little. When you first hear a song, sometimes you don’t understand it or don’t really like it, but after a few listens, you fall in love with it.

Ailee also added the King of Pop to her playlist with Michael Jackson‘s “Man In The Mirror“. With this song, she explains that she wants to be modest and not forget where she came from. Since the song is about a man seeing himself in the mirror, she relates to it because she always tries to see herself and make sure she stays true to who she is.

A lot of people love Ariana Grande, and apparently Ailee is no exception. She picked “Problem” featuring Iggy Azalea, but said she wanted to just put her entire album, “My Everything” on the playlist, that’s how much she loves Ariana. She even called her the next Mariah Carey because of her powerful voice.
