BTS has returned full force with their new music video for “Hormone War!” The fans and fan-sites have been going crazy with anticipation once it was announced that the guys were going to release a music video for the song, and now that is is here they are certifiably insane with excitement and happiness.
Now this is not my favorite BTS video but it is still good none the less. I really like the whole “Dark & Wild ” album and “Hormone War” has always been one of my favorite songs. The look of the video is cool, it has been shot mostly in black and white with pops of color giving it a really interesting look. The only down side to this look is that there are some times when the light or sun-flare is so severe that it washes the boys out.
I think one thing BTS does not get enough credit for is the fact that they are really good dancers. This choreography looks interesting and complex so it helps to highlight that fact that they are among the best dancers in K-Pop. I like it when these groups that dance really well get some tough choreography. It is going to be cool to see the whole dance routine when they promote this song on music shows.
I think what I liked the most about the music video is the fact that theysmile throughout the entire music video, I think that it adds the the somewhat cheeky feel and lyrics of the of the song. I also like the fact the guys don’t look overly made up with the torn clothing and “stylishly messy hair”. I really think this this music video was made for all the fan-girls and fan-boys out there. With all the butt touching and lip rubbing I am sure when they watch the video there will be thousands of fans suffering from nose bleeds.
