Cube Entertainment officially announces E’Dawn’s contract termination

It has been almost a month since E’Dawn and HyunA announced their relationship that left the K-pop industry shocked. This became a major issue for Cube Entertainment as they violated the rule that they are not allowed to date. Moreover, the couple kept the company in the dark and decided to announce it on their own, which Cube was not prepared for. This seemed to not only breach the contract but also their trust. Hence, Cube had to take drastic measures and terminate their contract with HyunA on October 15th, which did not go down well with her fans.

Nevertheless, on November 14th, the company officially announced E’Dawn‘s contract termination. He will no longer be a part of Pentagon. In an official statement announced by Cube, they stated “Cube Entertainment and E’Dawn agreed to the termination of the exclusive contract on [November] 14. We once again sincerely thank the artist and fans who have been with us until now.”
