Get your ‘Champagne’ on and enter the alluring world of South Korean alternative hip hop veterans, EPIK HIGH! Presented by TEG Live and CK Star Entertainment, the trio will be returning to the Aussie shores after three years, in the form of their Asia Pacific Tour 2022.
Coming hot off their recent Coachella performance in the U.S, the group are pioneers being the first South Korean artists to be re-invited to the festival and their first performance in 2016. The group plan to perform at The Forum in Melbourne and the Enmore Theatre in Sydney on Monday July 11th, and Tuesday July 12th respectively. The Melbourne show is Supported by ALWAYS LIVE, a new state-wide celebration of contemporary live music supported by the Victorian Government.
Promoting and celebrating their highly anticipated 10th album, it was released in two parts between 2021-2022: ‘Epik High is Here 上 (Part 1)’ & ‘Epik High Is Here 下 (Part 2)’. The stylistic decision was made to give listeners time to digest and process each of the tracks before moving onto the next. Its content discusses experiences of the highs and lows of the 2003 debuted group.
