Epik High Hits Big On The iTunes Charts With The Release Of “Shoebox”

Shortly after being released, Epik High‘s 8th album “Shoebox” made a big impact on the iTunes charts, not just in Asia, but in the US as well.

The album was released on the 21st and immediately topped the iTunes charts in Asia and entered the Hip Hop/R&B iTunes chart in the US.

During an official press release, YG Entertainment said, “The album immediately went to number one in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam and Taiwan while ranking number seven on the Hip-Hop/R&B charts in the US. In Korea, the album’s tracks are dominating most of the top 10 spots on various real-time music charts proving their immense popularity even after 13 years since debuting.”

Epik High member Tablo took to Twitter saying, “Thank you, our dear fans. You deserve more than we could ever offer you.”

The group is going to hold their first solo concert in 5 years entitled “Parade 2014” on November 15th and 16th at the Blue Square Samsung Cart Hall.
