EXO Sets a Record by Selling Over 1 Million Copies of Their Album!

The twelve boys of EXO recently set a record for selling over 1,000,000 copies of their first album “XOXO!”

Their first full album, separately titled “Kiss” and “Hug” for the Korean and Chinese versions respectively, was the first to reach such a milestone in Korea in the past 12 years. The feat is even more incredible since the boys can still be considered newcomers to the music industry, having just debuted in 2012.

Also included in the count is their repackaged album “Growl,” which includes a title song of the same name. The track has won the boys, daesangs or prestigious awards, the most recent one being ‘Song of the Year‘ at KBS Gayo Daejun.
