Unfortunately, Fiestar will not be performing their new song ‘One More’ on Music Core, as MBC announced that it has banned the group’s performances of the song.
The station’s representative explained, “It is true that Fiestar was banned from Music Core. It was because the lyrics to their new song were too explicit. The song passed the MBC censors but Music Core producers concluded that they wouldn′t let Fiestar on the show.”
Music Core’s chief producer, Park Hyun Seok, stated himself, “The song passed the censors but we thought it would still be too explicit for our viewers. We told Fiestar′s agency that the group can′t be invited to our show because the song doesn′t fit.”
The lyrics in question are “you and me, and bring in just one more / someone who′s done it more than us / two is okay but one two three.” MBC explained that the lyrics sound like a request for a threesome, while Fiestar’s agency stated that they are speaking of smartphone games and friend invitations. The agency has also announced that any such sexual reference was not planned, and that they are willing to change the lyrics so that they fit the broadcast.
