Happy Birthday To Super Junior’s Choi Siwon

Today is a really special day for one of the most famous idols across Asia and more. Super Junior’s Choi Siwon celebrates his 29th international age (30 korean age).

Siwon was born on April 7th, 1986. but his parents didn’t register him until February 10, 1987., wich is very strange from my point of view, maybe that was common in Korea in the 80’s.

He was born into a wealthy family, his father is CEO of Boryung Medicine, a pharmaceutical company and he also has a younger sister.

If you are and ELF you already know how special Siwon is, not mentioning his amazing outer appearance which is God-given, his amazing stage presence with Super Junior, and variety of skills along with his amazing talent in acting, he became one of the most recognizable idols in K-Pop.

Siwon was scouted by SM Entertainment’s agent when he was only 16 years old on his way to school with his friends and he auditioned without his parents consent, he notified them when he passed audition. Even though they supported his decision they decided that they will not help him in any way, he needed to take responsibility for his actions and prove himself for the life he has chosen.

It turned out at the end that he was right by choosing the life of an idol because the doors he opened were the right ones. He worked really hard for his group and his solo activities as an actor.

He acted in several dramas, but his first main role was in a drama “Oh, My Lady.“ He recently acted with the legends Jackie Chan and Adrien Brody in a 3D movie blockbuster Dragon Blade, this movie is China’s most expensive film ever made.

Like I already mentioned he is really famous in his variety skills, and he guested in lot of variety shows such as Running Man and Infinity Challenge where he auditioned recently to be a member of the regular cast on the show.

Even though he works as an actor, he is first and foremost a singer. Listen his track “Who Am I“ and you will be blown away.

When he finishes his career as an entertainer, his dream is to become a missionary, because he strongly believes in is religion as a Protestant Christian.
