It was recently announced that History‘s leader, Song Kyungil, will be leaving soon for his mandatory military service. The 28 year old’s agency, FAVE Entertainment, announced:
“Song Kyung Il got a notification that he was accepted into the police special promotions unit. The enlistment date has not come out yet, so we are waiting. It turns out that Song Kyungil will fulfill his military service as policeman on duty and will enlist as soon as the date is set. We are internally discussing promotional plans for HISTORY afterwards in the absence of Song Kyungil. Although one member is temporarily on leave, we are seeking many different measures for the group to meet with their fans.”
This statement comes 5 months after their comeback album, ‘Him‘. Storias currently have mixed emotions while waiting to hear the official date as to when he will be leaving.
